Hello Again!
So besides, what happened today? I applied for a internship in an established guesthouse and I now hope that they'll take me. I'm quite confident, because my application is awesome!

Time to say goodbye!
I'll be at some kind of fictional political seminar where we are supposed to play countries and solve problems. Basically we'll rule the world in some days! =D
I'm actually looking forward to it. It's nice to spend some time with your classmates again. We kinda grew closer together at the time of our schooltrip. <3haha
So, see ya all on Wednesday!
Hamburg - Day Two Part II
9th of July, 4:00 PM
According to plan a guided tour followed next. And for some reason we were all quite tired at the moment. Because we booked a bus for our whole trip, a woman boarded to our bus and told us a long rigmarole about every single detail what we've seen outside the windows. At first I found it pretty interesting considering I have been to Hamburg and didn't know that much about it, but later it got plainly boring.
I think I even fell asleep while listening to her. Before that I didn't even know I was able to sleep in a bus.
And then she said: "Now we'll alight from the bus to have a nice view over the Alster."
And Jan who sat behind me screamed through the whole bus: "Argh I slept so well!"
I'm not sure whether she heard it or not. So we had no other choice but to leave our nicely warm and comfortable bus. And it was cold outside. Really cold if you just wear a t-shirt and a thin coat. So we stood outside, at the beautiful Altster who wasn't that beautiful for us at the moment, and listened to that guiding lady in a collective, anti-cold cuddle.
You can imagine how happy we were when we were 'allowed' to go back to the bus and to had the opportunity to continue our nap =D.
9th of July, 6:00 PM
In the evening we were on our own again. Today the guys told us that they have had "dinner" at a Chinese snack bar which was in the Train station (which was easily reached in about 5 min from our hotel) and quite cheap. They went there again and we decided to go along. After our delicious 2,50 Euro fried noodles we didn't wanna go back to the hotel, because it was only 7 or 8 o'clock which was definitely to early to sit around in the hotel. The guys bought a six-pack of beer (for twelve people; fortunately I don't like beer) and we walked a bit through the shopping street of Hamburg. About two guys were also smoking and then we were approached by a friendly and about 25 or 30 year old man.
"Hi, I'm the drug-control director of…!"
No comment! We (not me though) were walking around with cigarettes and alcohol and that guy…
Of course we started laughing all of a sudden. He just asked us if we wanna donate for an organisation helping drug-addicted kids to keep them off the streets and provide a better future for them. Big-hearted as we are we all gave him our small coins and in the end he had about 26 Euro more than before. And yes, we were very proud after our generous act!
10th of July, 00:00 PM
That was the end of another interesting day! Some more stuff happened in the evening, but it would be too exhausting to tell you about every single detail. But I'll give you some hints: drunken Hessians who didn't understand us again; massages of Jasmin, Meli, Holger and Björn (towards one another) that I refused; Katja alone in one room with Flo, who wore not more than boxer shorts, when the teachers came in; "Conversations" and more…

Hamburg - Day Two Part I
9th of July, 8:00 AM
The alarm clock was ringing which was a clear sign for me and for us all to stand up, so I opened my eyes and saw that everyone but me was already awake and afoot. But no, I wasn't the only late riser. Jasmin was still sleeping.
The other girls told me to hurry up, because we had to go to breakfast at 8:30, so we would be ready at 9 o'clock.
At breakfast we met the rest of our class. Today we planned to visit the Miniaturwunderland (miniature wonderland – the biggest model railway in the world) and Hamburg Dungeon (an attraction providing Hamburg's dark history; next to London Dungeon and York Dungeon a part of the Dungeon chain) in the morning.
9th of July, 10:00AM
Because we arrived at the Speicherstadt (old city island of Hamburg, with old buildings formerly used as storage for coffee, carpets, etc.) a lot earlier than we thought, we took a walk at the Elbe (another river). We've seen some people of a German beer company building up something for an event. My mate Katja incidentally fancied someone with curls and I was a bit annoyed by the rain.
Then the time was ripe to go in the Miniaturwunderland. I had already been there before, so it wasn't that interesting for me, although it's an interesting and beautiful place to visit. But I was really looking forward to Hamburg Dungeon, because I always wanted to visit that, but we've never had the time.
Between MiWuLa and Dungeon we had some spare time which ended up with standing in front of the Dungeon and talking to some of my classmates.
Suddenly three girls and one guy stood next to us.
"Can we interview some of you for a project.", one of the girls asked. We looked at each other and Babsi, Flo and Julia agreed. Me and Katja went along because of our curiosity. They asked them questions about the HafenCity (harbour city) which is currently being built next to the old Speicherstadt. The interviewees said exactly the opposite of what they wanted to hear, but well… It was our opinion!
Later on, when the interview was finished, we went back to our waiting point and stared some holes into spaces. Then Flo had the great idea to ask them where he could find an "Abort" (enormously franconian word for "toilet" or "Toilette" in German). So he went back to the interviewers and asked them in an extremely Franconian dialect, where he could find an Abort. First of all they went into a huddle and then one girl replied: "Well, the Speicherstadtmuseum is quite interesting, the Elbmuseum is nice as well…"
No comment at that point *facepalm*!
But you can't resent their language problems, because it was hard to understand. But it was funny, nevertheless.
9th of July, 1:00 PM
Hamburg Dungeon! In front of the building there was a woman who worked for the Dungeon. It was her job to kill the waiting people's time. And she was evil. And again because of our dialect. But we didn't care much and went inside. Tobi, a classmate, was frightened to death before the actual scary stuff started. He and Mr. S. went out later, because we and he were afraid he'd probably collapse.
At that day I wore my Werder Bremen Shirt. You gotta know that Werder Bremen and Hamburger SV are some of the worst 'enemies' in German Bundesliga. And while waiting some boys showed me a sticker on which you could read "Scheiss Werder" (something like "Fuck Werder"). I told them that "Scheiss" was spelled wrong and asked them of which football team they'd be fans. One of them answered Hamburger SV. They seemed to be quite aggressive (with such a sticker) for about 15 year old school boys, but in the end they were quite nice actually. Just a bit dumb and fan of the wrong team!
Then it was finally our turn to enter the Dungeon. It was quite interesting, because actors where talking to you. One of them screamed "Jasmiiiin!" all the time, because she made the mistake to tell him her name.
The 'stories' the Dungeon told us were about Hamburg's history – The big fire who destroyed half of the city in 1842; The cholera-epidemics 1852; Störtebeker and his stories (a well-known pirate) and the storm flood of 1962. It was scary and funny at the same time! And after all a great experience.
And at the end there was a smaller freefall tower we all liked a lot.

Hamburg - Day One
Here comes my traveller's diary of my School Trip to Hamburg from July, 8th to 11th.
8th of July. 4:45 AM
"Holy fuck! Why do I have to stand up that early?
Ye, right. School trip. You just do that once in your life, so pull yourself together and get outta bed now."
But I wasn't the only one with these feelings. Except for me 25 other people (and their drivers) had to get up at that inhuman time. Later we moved off to a near village, because we gave a friend of mine - called Meli - a lift, so not everyone had to drive alone to the 25 km far away school. There we met the others and our two accompanying teachers - Mr. S. and Mrs. K.. Against my expectations everyone seemed quite wide awake.
At that day it was one of my mates (Jasmin) seventeenth birthday.
Then we were getting into the bus. Our driver Thomas seemed to be a nice guy, considering he didn't moan when we started singing the "Tunnel-Lied" (tunnel-song) which means singing "Tunnel, Tunnel, Tunnel, Tunnel, Tunnel, if you drive in it gets dark and if you drive out it's getting light again" for the whole time you drive through a tunnel. That's kind of a tradition of our class xD We managed to sing for 8 km in the Rennsteigtunnel (Germanys longest street tunnel). Go we!
The music selection of our guys in the bus will be listed later. But I'll say that much: loud.music.drinking.8hours.nonstop
8th of July, 8:30 AM
We had been driving for 2:30 hours now. And some guys were already drunk! At least Flo said he was. And I do believe him in that point. They drank vodka mixed with coke and other strange combinations, because the teachers weren't supposed to notice that they brought alcohol. During that time my mate Katja and I talked and played games to kill the time (we had to drive 8 hours to Hamburg). We couldn't be arsed to be drunk that early!
8th of July, 2:30 PM
We finally arrived at our hotel. We had a room with 6 beds. Because we (Katja, Meli, Jasmin and me) were only four people, you can imagine that we had a lot of space for making a lot of mess. Later we planned a harbour tour. Hamburg is famous for having the largest German harbour, the second largest harbour of Europe and the eighth largest of the whole world.
It was just a bit sad that it rained the whole day (Well, it's always raining there!).
8th of July, 6:30 PM
We got some free time to spend in small groups. Because we haven't eaten anything proper til that, we decided to search for a restaurant or something. And because Jasmin has already been to Hamburg this year she knew where a cheap but good restaurant was.
So we ate directly next to the Alster (river in Hamburg). Of course I had to eat fish, because Hamburg is especially famous for fish. I went for salmon with pasta and a white wine sauce and asparagus. The whole dinner was brilliant, the salmon tasted excellent (even if I weren't able to recognize that there was any asparagus on my plate).
Later that evening we went back to the hotel. There at least half of my class decided to visit us in our room. In the end we were about 10 people sitting in one room and talking about stuff and you wouldn't even wanna know about what we talked. xD
9th of July. 0:45 AM
We finally kicked our classmates out and went to bed. That was our first and 19 hour long day.
tbc.
It's 11 a.m. and I'm at home
Well, yesterday night, about 10pm, my mum said to me: "Is everything alright with tomorrow?" (for two weeks Ive been having a pressure in the ear, which kinda scares me, because I'm deaf on one ear, so I don't wanna 'lose' the other one as well) We had agreed on going to the doctor today earlier, so I said yes, because I thought we'll visit the doctor today afternoon after school. Then my mum told me that she had thought I wouldn't go to school today. Of course I agreed on that immediately. ;)
Then, this morning, I got up quite early, so we would be able to visit the doctor without having an appointment. But then the first ear specialist told us to go again, because he already had quite a busy shedule and no time to check me up.
Then we went home and called another one (that one was 50 km away from the first one:( ). Their we immediately got an appointment. So we went there and the doctor told me that I have a profound inflammation.
Now I have to take ear drops and some other medicaments.
But now I can at least stay at home^^
Yay, so now my weekend started!

Oh well...
Today I just had an itch to write something, even if nothing special happened.
Our graduates had their muck-up day (in germany called "Abischerz") today and it sucked. Because people at our school are not allowed to make anything like a prank or something, we've got the tradition to play stupid semi-embarrasing games with the teachers (make them sing, or play football against eachother,...). And this year it just sucked more than ever before. First of all it was way to short (just about 1 hour), then they had bad bad music (but that's the same every year) and they had too less teachers.
However, we decided to make the best Abischerz our school has seen. In two years. Yeah! We already started to search for better music, think of better games and of a better Abizeitung (Kind of an leaver's year book, written by the graduates in a more or less funny way).
And we've got 7 days of school left and then..... SUMMER HOLIDAYS! Yayyy! Which implies doing nothing or senseless crap on the internet the whole day. And meeting friends every other day. And .... and... and... but no School!
And tomorrow morning I've seen on of the ugliest, most disgusting things of my life. When I walked to the bus station, me and my neighbour have seen a huge, big toad on the road. Well, that's not that disgusting (but for me already disgusting enough :-( )
And there was a whole in its head... and ewwwwwww, and parts of the brain were.... ewwww, I can't even write it down... it was so ewwwwwwwwwww.
Excuse me, I've got a very bad trauma now!

My Incredible (bad) Drawing Skills
Today's Achievements
First day back in school after our class trip to Hamburg (Traveller's Diary will follow on Wed/Thu or whenever I have the time to write somethin). We didn't even have proper lessons today, just talking a bit with the teachers and telling them what happened in Hamburg.
Oh, and I do have good news. I'll get an A in History this year, so I'll be able to go by train for free for one day in the holidays. Yeahhh that rocks! xD
Furthermore I finally decided what to bake tomorrow. Yay for turkish desserts!
And I drew John yesterday evening. Maybe I'll post that later on when it's finished. Failed a bit though, looks quite female now (I think it's the fault of his long hair).

1 Day - 1 Blog - 2 Posts
Today I listened to To Record Only Water For Ten Days for the first time. Gosh, what an amazing album! I gotta say I really fell in love with it.
Just purely amazing! I love John's voice. And yes, I'm in a quite obsessive mood today.
And what did I do else... Erm. Yeah, I started writing a new story. A new longer story (I hope it'll be a longer story that I don't stop somewhere after six or seven chapters).
And oh, I start to like that blog-thing. It's interesting to talk/write to yourself. Like a little diary. <3
My first blog ever! Yay!
just wow. I've got a blog. It feels incredibly amazing and scary at the same time.
I actually intend to write something at least every other day (Why? I don't really know), although I know not that much people might be interested in my awesome life^^
Even if they should be.
So let's see where this is going...
Cheers,
mox
